Position: Oracle HCM Solution Architect
Duration: FULL TIME

HCM Solution Architect with strong functional skills on US Payroll, Benefits and Time and Labor. Should have done 4-5 full implementations leading US Payroll implementations.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead the US Payroll and Time & Labor workstream for a new Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. The role involves owning end-to-end solution design, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring a compliant, scalable, and high-quality implementation for a US-based customer.
This is a US-only implementation, and deep expertise in US payroll legislation, compliance, and integrations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the Solution Architect for Oracle US Payroll and Time & Labor modules.
• Lead end-to-end solution design, including requirements analysis, system configuration, and architecture decisions.
• Design compliant payroll solutions aligned with US federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, FICA, FUTA, SUTA, W-2, etc.).
• Architect Time & Labor solutions including time entry, schedules, absence integration, and device/integration strategies.
• Define and oversee integrations with third-party systems (time clocks, benefits providers, finance/GL, tax engines, etc.).
• Guide payroll setup including balances, costing, taxation, retro pay, fast formulas, and payroll controls.
• Support data conversion, parallel payroll runs, UAT, and go-live readiness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for design decisions, risk management, and best practices.
• Mentor functional consultants and review configuration for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, with strong focus on US Payroll and Time & Labor.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant on Oracle HCM implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of US payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with:
o Oracle US Payroll
o Oracle Time and Labor (OTL / Time & Labor Cloud)
o Fast Formulas
o Payroll balances, costing, and reporting
• Strong experience with integrations (HCM Extracts, HDL, Payroll Interface, REST/SOAP).
• Experience supporting parallel payroll runs and payroll reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
