Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a next-generation Enterprise Metadata Management Platform for a leading BFSI client. The role will drive end-to-end architecture across enterprise data, knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and cloud-native full stack solutions, ensuring scalability, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Platform Design

• Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise data and metadata platforms
• Define scalable, secure, and compliant solutions aligned to BFSI standards
• Develop architecture blueprints, standards, and reusable patterns

Enterprise Data & Semantic Architecture

• Design metadata, lineage, governance, and catalog architectures
• Architect knowledge graph solutions (Neo4j) with ontology and relationships
• Define semantic layer for consistent business data consumption

Full Stack & Microservices

• Architect cloud-native microservices platforms (Java/Python)
• Define API-first architecture (REST APIs, API gateways)
• Establish event-driven patterns (Kafka or similar)

Cloud & Integration

• Design solutions on AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform with focus on scalability and optimisation
• Implement containerised architectures (Kubernetes)
• Define enterprise integration patterns (API-led, event-driven)

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
• Define metadata governance and stewardship workflows
• Enable lineage, auditability, and explainability

Stakeholder Leadership

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and architecture oversight

Required Skills

• Experience in Solution / Enterprise Data Architecture
• Strong expertise in metadata platforms and data governance
• Experience with knowledge graphs (Neo4j) and semantic layers
• Strong in microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)
• Hands-on with AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes
• Understanding of BFSI regulatory environments

Experience

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture
• 5+ years in solution / enterprise data architecture roles
• Exposure to AI/ML / GenAI / semantic search is a plus
