As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst on the STAR (Statistics and Reserves) Central Business Administration Function (CBAF) team, candidates will play an integral role in supporting the STAR suite of applications. These applications are used across the entire Federal Reserve System (all twelve districts) and the Board of Governors to conduct regulatory and monetary policy. You will be responsible for satisfying (Board of Governors two delegated functions ? Statistics and Reserves) business objectives through excellent customer service and technical analysis.
Responsibilities:
Employ your analytical skills and customer service abilities to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
Devise solutions, and provide guidance to STAR?s system-wide user base in a 24x7 help desk environment
Support and enhance day-to-day STAR operational services through:
o Application of technical expertise in resolving reported incidents or issues
o Analyzing complex business problems and performing related in-depth research
o Working with cross-functional teams to address business or system issues
o Using technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop processes and procedures that enhance the team?s ability to support the customers in a proactive and efficient manner
o Producing training and technical documentation for existing and enhanced STAR business processes and applications
Actively participate in testing activities of the STAR suite of applications, monitor systems, and perform system health checks on as-needed basis
Develop a good understanding of the STAR business and interdependent systems
Required Experience
Six years working as a Business Systems Analyst in a financial services or banking environment
Proficiency in both on-premises and cloud-based application architectures (AWS)
Experience with incident management and problem resolution capabilities
Expert-level query writing experience (Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact professionally and influence all levels of staff, leadership, and a diverse group of customers
