The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-performing, growth-oriented commercial leader to spearhead business development for cutting-edge data center and enterprise storage technologies. Operating from the tech hub of Northern California, you will champion market expansion for advanced solid-state drive (SSD) controller architectures and memory solutions.

This pivotal role empowers you to shape the future of digital infrastructure by cultivating strategic alliances with industry titans, hyperscale cloud providers, and key players across the global NAND ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive business development initiatives and secure direct sales wins within the competitive enterprise storage and controller market.

  • Cultivate enduring, executive-level relationships with hyperscalers, major OEMs, ODMs, and strategic ecosystem partners.

  • Architect accurate sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and commercial strategies to meet and exceed aggressive regional growth targets.

  • Champion complex commercial negotiations, aligning pricing models and contractual terms to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.

  • Synthesize market intelligence and client feedback, collaborating closely with cross-functional Engineering, Product Management, and Operations teams to guide product roadmaps.

  • Execute high-impact client engagements requiring up to 25% travel, ensuring a consistent and influential on-site brand presence in the local tech community.

What You Bring

  • Proven Expertise: 8 to 15 years of technical sales or business development experience focused on enterprise SSDs, memory controllers, or high-density NAND flash technologies.

  • Market Access: A demonstrated history of successfully selling hardware components to large-scale data center operators, cloud service providers, or tier-1 computing manufacturers.

  • Communication Mastery: Native-level English fluency to effectively negotiate and present at all organizational levels. Bilingual proficiency in Korean is highly advantageous, and comprehensive relocation assistance is available for qualified Korean-speaking professionals.

  • Geographic Presence: Current residency in the United States with an established track record of managing and expanding North American customer accounts.

  • Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
