WebMethods Integration Architect - Akron, OH HYBRID

Contract description

We currently have a contract opportunity for a WebMethods Integration Architect.

Design and own the end-to-end integration architecture across Power & Utilities platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and surrounding enterprise applications.
Lead the implementation of integration solutions with WebMethods using APIs, ESB, and related middleware, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient data exchange.
Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to translate requirements into robust integration designs, patterns, and standards.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes and performance optimizations.
Provide technical leadership, documentation, and knowledge transfer to project teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in systems integration utilizing WebMethods, ideally within complex enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience integrating Power & Utilities platforms, specifically SAP and Maximo, or similar utility asset/ERP systems.
Strong expertise with integration technologies and patterns, including APIs (REST/SOAP), ESB/middleware, and related tools (e.g., API gateways, message queues).
