Senior SAP Integration Architect – PI/PO Modernization & SAP BTP Integration Suite

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP Integration Architect to lead enterprise integration transformation initiatives focused on modernizing SAP PI/PO landscapes and migrating them to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
This role will define the integration architecture, migration strategy, and governance for integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms. The architect will work with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to implement scalable API-led and event-driven integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Architecture
- Define enterprise integration strategy aligned with SAP cloud transformation.
- Design target architecture using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Establish integration standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Develop reusable API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration patterns.
- Provide architecture oversight for enterprise integration programs.
- PI/PO Assessment & Modernization
- Assess current SAP PI/PO landscapes and integrations.
- Review artifacts including ESR, message mappings, operation mappings, UDFs, and Integration Directory configurations.
- Identify redundant interfaces, technical debt, and consolidation opportunities.
- Develop integration modernization roadmaps and migration plans.
- PI/PO to BTP Migration
- Architect migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Define migration approaches for message mappings, adapters, and legacy interfaces.
- Support adoption of API-led integration, event-driven architectures, and hybrid integration platforms.
- Develop migration templates and reusable accelerators.
SAP & Enterprise Integrations:
Design and implement integrations between SAP cloud applications (Ariba, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass) and enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow using technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, webhooks, and middleware orchestration.
Technologies:
Strong experience with SAP PI/PO (ESR, Integration Directory, Message Mapping, UDF, Adapter Framework, SLD/NWA, security certificates) and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Integration Advisor, iFlows, Groovy scripting).
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies
- Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Experience designing enterprise integration architectures
- Experience integrating SAP with enterprise SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of SLD, NWA, and security configuration

- SAP S/4HANA transformation programs

- Integration automation or AI-based discovery tools
