Sr Automation Engineer (Seismic Platform)

Gather, analyze, and document business and content related data requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements
Create, refine, and manage Jira stories, tasks, and defects, including clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, and dependencies, to support data and content initiatives
Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to ensure Jira tickets are ready for development and aligned to sprint and release goals
Analyze data sets to identify trends, gaps, and quality issues, and support root cause analysis and remediation of data defects
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product managers, and data/engineering teams to ensure shared understanding of data needs and constraints
Support data governance practices by ensuring consistent definitions, standards, and usage of content and business data across platforms
Support testing, validation, and release readiness activities, including documentation and operational handoff
Provide support for data related questions and triage issues, partnering with engineering and platform teams as needed
