The BI reporting Admin is responsible for administering BI tools and integrate with Big Data in the Cloud. This is not a developer position or an analyst position.
Responsibilities:
* Help with performance tuning and develop best practices
* Provide support to cross teams and cross projects with deployment and upgrade including troubleshooting of incidents to maintain the required service level.
* Work on complex, major or highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertise in an Enterprise environment
* Set up and provide reports using PowerBI
Position Purpose:
The MicroStrategy Administrator is a specialized technical leader responsible for the operational excellence, security, and modernization of enterprise business intelligence (BI) platforms. This role focuses on the administration, integration, and optimization of MicroStrategy environments, with a strong emphasis on cloud-based solutions and seamless interoperability with AWS, Power BI, and other modern data technologies. The position is not a developer or analyst role, but rather a hands-on, cross-functional administrator dedicated to ensuring high availability, performance, and security of BI systems.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting MicroStrategy environments.
* 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including report setup and workspace management.
* Strong experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., QuickSight, EKS, Redshift), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
* Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL.
* Deep understanding of MicroStrategy architecture, security, and administration tools (Developer, Object Manager, Command Manager, Workstation).
* Experience with MicroStrategy Customer Managed Cloud and AWS QuickSight is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.
* MicroStrategy and AWS certifications are a plus.
