As a Software Engineer and feature lead, you will work with talented IVR developers to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable self-service solutions for the contact center. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support IVR applications in a modern cloud environment. You will help shape solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes and ensure systems and designs reflect high levels of technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals.
- Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices.
- Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.
- Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of our solutions.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience with complex applications.
- Previous experience with speech-enabled IVR development using Genesys or Nuance Framework.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Spring, Groovy, and VXML.
- Proficiency in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot.
- A strong track record of delivering software through multiple full project implementations.
- Experience leading developers within an agile, fast-paced engineering environment.
- A commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and scalable design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment.
- Experience building or deploying applications on MS Azure or OpenShift platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is between $63.00/hour and $68.26/hour.
