Child Support Applications Tester || (G.C / U.S.C)

**Primary Qualifications:**
- Demonstrable leadership experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, with concentrated exposure to Child Support or similar Human Services domains.
- Deep understanding of core business processes within Child Support services, including experience designing and executing testing strategies for complex enterprise applications encompassing web interfaces, data integrations, batch jobs, reporting modules, and online forms.
- Proficiency in guiding QA teams through all stages of the testing lifecycle using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; proven ability to select and implement suitable test frameworks and best practices.
- Comprehensive background in requirements validation, test strategy formulation, defect management, and reporting, including stakeholder engagement and end-to-end client delivery oversight.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with test case development, automation, performance, and API/web services testing; strong proficiency in tools such as Selenium (preferably with Java), UFT, JIRA, JMeter, SoapUI, and Requirements/Test Management platforms like Jama.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence (including X-ray plug-in for test management).
**Desirable Skills:**
- Experience working alongside Agile teams, including functional subject matter experts, developers, Scrum Masters, and Test Managers, to translate requirements into executable test cases.
- Background in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases and coordinating with business users to close functional gaps.
**Position Duties:**
- Author, review, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts; ensure coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in the execution of System, Integration, and UAT testing phases, leveraging Java or Python for automation as needed.
- Participate in requirements analysis, peer reviews, and client/customer coordination meetings.
- Partner closely with development and product teams to ensure delivery objectives and timelines for high-quality releases.
- Identify, document, and communicate risks, defects, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
