About the Role:

We are seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to join a centralized Merchant Growth team within a rapidly scaling U.S. e-commerce marketplace. This role partners closely with industry, operations, and product teams to improve merchant performance, strengthen supply quality, and drive sustainable marketplace growth.
You will work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and analytics-identifying opportunities, designing scalable initiatives, and turning insights into execution that directly impacts merchant success and customer experience.

About the Team:

The U.S. e-commerce operations team focuses on delivering high-quality products and a differentiated customer experience at scale. Operating within a fast-growing digital commerce ecosystem with a global consumer reach, the team is building innovative, secure, and intuitive marketplace capabilities and seeks operators who thrive in dynamic, high-impact environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchant growth strategies that support onboarding, activation, and long-term success across the marketplace
• Identify operational gaps and performance challenges within the merchant ecosystem and design structured initiatives to improve supply health and outcomes
• Partner cross-functionally with Industry, Operations, and Product teams to translate strategy into scalable, execution-ready programs
• Leverage platform tools and product capabilities to enhance merchant enablement and improve operational efficiency
• Analyze merchant performance data, GMV trends, and ecosystem metrics to identify growth opportunities and continuously refine strategy
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, driving alignment, execution, and measurable results

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce strategy, marketplace operations, merchant growth, or related roles
• Strong analytical skillset with hands-on experience interpreting performance data and driving data-informed decisions
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional programs in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities

Preferred

• Experience driving GMV growth within a B2C marketplace
• Knowledge of merchant lifecycle management and performance optimization
• Familiarity with product enablement and partnering closely with product teams
• Experience with SQL and advanced data analysis
• Exposure to live commerce, digital marketing, or global marketplace environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $270000.00/yr.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
