Role- Linux Monitoring L1 support analyst Location- 2070 Route 52, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533
Please note- This job will be of 12hrs shift.
Work days will be like- First week-3 days and next week - 4 days and .
So for one week, candidate will work only 3 days and (for eg- M, T, W and weekly off on T, F, S, S) and similar way for next week, work days will be M, T,W, T (4 days)
shift timing = 7 AM to 7 PM for Day shift and 7 PM to 7 AM for the night shift
JOB ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment. They are also responsible for analyzing first and second level problems for all systems (according to the service agreements), resolving and routing as appropriate, supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to the 300mm client requirements. The role would require the person to be highly skilled in Linux, Windows, and Unix Server Operations and have some application knowledge. Role would require Level 2 problem determination skills for server and applications, knowledge of hardware installs, rack installs, operating system install knowledge, and FAB application knowledge.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Linux, Unix, Windows, Monitoring Software, Ticket management; hands on server operations skills and support required. Person should have some skills comparable to assisting a Systems Administrator.
