Position: Assistant Merchandiser/ Assistant Buyer
Location: Glendale, CA 91201
Duration: 7 Months
Work Model: Hybrid (Mon Thu onsite, Fri remote)
This role supports the Merchandise Buying Manager in building and executing product assortments across shop, flagship stores, and third party marketplaces, with strong exposure to eCommerce turnover, assortment planning, and cross functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Support merchandise strategy and assortment planning for assigned categories
Partner on quarterly product development (ideation to assortment to samples)
Weekly sales, performance, and risk analysis with clear communication of insights
Create and manage range plans, turnover sheets, photobooks, and playbooks
Own eCommerce turnover process including product data, samples, and fast track meetings
Proof product pages, site assets, and URLs for accuracy
Collaborate with Site Merchandising, Marketing, Visual, Creative, Production & Guest Services
Conduct market trends, competitive analysis, and identify assortment white space
Build vendor and licensing partner relationships
Monitor product quality reports and follow up on corrective actions
Must Have Skills
Advanced Excel (reporting, tracking, analysis)
Strong organizational & multitasking ability
Excellent written and verbal communication
Buying or merchandising experience (2 3 years)
Financial aptitude & business acumen
Ability to work independently in a fast paced retail environment
PLM knowledge (highly preferred, not mandatory)
Confidence presenting insights to cross functional stakeholders

Assistant Buyer / Associate Merchandiser background
Experience supporting eCommerce or omni channel assortments
Comfortable working with product lifecycles, calendars, and turnover processes
Proactive, detail oriented, collaborative, and highly reliable on follow ups
Bachelor s degree + relevant buying/merchandising experience
