Role Summary
As a Software Development Lead, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for developing and configuring software systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative Guidewire solutions while managing team decisions and stakeholder expectations. This role requires a blend of high-level technical architecture and hands-on mentorship to ensure project goals are met within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs.
Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals.
Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
Responsible for team decisions, managing stakeholders, and contributing to key decisions.
Required Skills
Guidewire PolicyCenter: Expert proficiency (8+ years total experience preferred).
Guidewire Integration: Advanced proficiency.
Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD): Expert proficiency recommended.
Technical Leadership: 2 3 years of experience in a lead capacity.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Cloud Version: Must be current (e.g., Niseko, Oulu, or Las Lenas). An on-premise version 10 certification is no longer sufficient for this cloud-native req. Preferred "Gold Standard" (The Tie-Breakers): Guidewire ACE (PolicyCenter or Integration): This is the highest level of technical validation. If they have an ACE cert + Cloud experience, move them to the top of the pile. Guidewire Cloud Technical Certification: Specifically validates their knowledge of the Cloud Assurance API (CAA) and Integration Gateway. AWS Certified Developer/Architect: Since Guidewire Cloud runs on AWS, this is a massive "Nice-to-Have" that the HM will value for infrastructure-related tasks. Required Skills
