Location:
Weekly hybrid in Irvine, CA
Terms: Direct-hire
Compensation: 175,000 to 210,000 annual salary

Partnered with a client who is a medical device manufacturer of software-as-medical device. They are seeking a high-level Sr IT Project Manager who is strategic and tactical with enterprise apps initiatives. Lead complex enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives. This role partners closely with business and IT leaders to define, deliver, and support strategic technology solutions and roadmaps across a global organization.

What You'll Do



  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, programs, and portfolios.

  • Drive project planning, scope management, budgeting, resource allocation, risk mitigation, governance, and executive reporting.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business and technology transformation initiatives with global impact.

  • Manage project communications, dependencies, issues, and change management activities.

  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and executive decision-making processes.

  • Develop business cases, project plans, KPIs, status reporting, and performance metrics.

  • Manage vendors, contracts, and third-party delivery partners.

  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices while driving continuous process improvement.

  • Mentor project management team members and contribute to the evolution of program management standards.

  • Leverage Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.


What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Experience managing IT enterprise applications in a medical device / highly regulated manufacturing environment; GxP highly desirable

  • Deep expertise in project, program, and portfolio management within enterprise IT environments.

  • Strong experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving business and technical teams.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and executive leadership, build consensus, and drive organizational change.

  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and benefits realization.

  • Knowledge of enterprise technologies including ERP, CRM, HRIS, cloud, SaaS, systems integrations, infrastructure, data & analytics, and cybersecurity.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, and Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio, Power BI, and AI.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
