Job Title: Back End Developer (Java / Oracle Cloud / Microservices)
Location: Alpharetta, GA - Hybrid (On-site Thursdays; may shift to 3+ days/week)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to support a mission-critical enterprise application. You will contribute to digital transformation efforts by modernizing legacy components, enhancing existing capabilities, and building scalable services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role requires strong technical depth, experience with complex microservices environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, platform, and security teams.

Job Title: Back End Developer (Java / Oracle Cloud / Microservices)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to support a mission-critical enterprise application. You will contribute to digital transformation efforts by modernizing legacy components, enhancing existing capabilities, and building scalable services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role requires strong technical depth, experience with complex microservices environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, platform, and security teams.
Responsibilities
- You develop deliverables based on Business enhancements Enhance existing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies
- Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture and on large databases
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements. Effective communication skills Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed to collaborate and work with multiple team.
Minimum Qualifications (Required Skills)
- 6+ years of application development and technology experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java application design, development, and implementation.
- Strong expertise with Linux scripting and production issue debugging.
- Proficient in Oracle Cloud environments.
- Advanced skills in writing and optimizing Oracle SQL queries.
- Experience with Tomcat application servers.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience using Cloud & DevOps tools such as GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc.
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners to align with enterprise development and DevOps standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Camel 3.
- Experience with APIGEE.
- Familiarity with JSON for service communication and data handling.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
