IT Project Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to lead critical projects within the insurance industry while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on driving results and delivering success.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT project management within a detail-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.
PMP Certification is required.
Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
