Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with a strong background in financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing all financial inputs for the corporate forecast, including staffing plans, contract accruals, and balancing to targets. The ideal candidate will develop financial forecasts, coordinate monthly and quarterly reporting processes, and ensure technology managers execute within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all inputs into finance for the corporate forecast, including staffing plans, attrition factors, and contract accruals.
- Develop financial forecasts and ensure technology managers execute within a 1% variance.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly reporting processes in partnership with finance, technology managers, and portfolio delivery leads.
- Track employee joiners and leavers and maintain the staffing plan dashboard.
- Follow up with managers on hiring and escalate any barriers or issues.
- Check and report on corporate finance variance drivers.
- Monitor capacity and forecast allocations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with the portfolio governance and financial team to monitor changes in funding and assess the impact on staffing plans.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Demonstrated background in financial reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Prior experience in a finance or business support role, with exposure to corporate forecasting and headcount reporting.
- Experience with financial tools such as PMMT, TPAS, and WMP.
Technical Skills:- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
Professional Skills:- Strong analytical, financial management, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr - $46.18/hr. The specific rate paid to an individual will be within this range and determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the local market, the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
