Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a Project Manager.

Project Intake & Initiation:
* Review and evaluate incoming project requests across a diverse portfolio of initiatives
* Partner with business and functional leaders to clarify objectives, scope, success metrics, and constraints
* Lead initial project sizing and planning activities (e.g., T-shirt sizing, high-level timelines, resource needs)
* Identify and document key risks, dependencies, assumptions, and cross-functional impacts early in the lifecycle
* Develop clear project charters and intake summaries to support prioritization and governance decisions

End-to-End Project Delivery:
* Own the full project lifecycle from initiation through close-out, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource forecasts
* Facilitate requirements, design, and planning sessions in partnership with Business Analysts, IT, and functional teams
* Drive execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
* Proactively manage scope changes, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
* Maintain alignment between business objectives, approved scope, and delivered outcomes throughout execution

Stakeholder & Communication Management:
* Serve as the primary point of accountability for project status, decisions, and outcomes
* Establish and maintain effective communication plans tailored to executives, sponsors, and project teams
* Lead regular project meetings, status reviews, and steering committee updates
* Ensure transparency into progress, risks, financials, and delivery tradeoffs
* Support change management activities to drive adoption and business readiness

Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
* Work across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT, and other functions to deliver integrated solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
* Mid- to senior-level experience as a Project Manager delivering cross-functional, enterprise initiatives
* Proven ability to manage ambiguous projects and drive structure, clarity, and execution
* Strong experience leading cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and IT
* Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
* Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
* Experience in manufacturing, operations, ERP, or enterprise transformation environments is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
