Remove roadblocks and protect the team from unnecessary distractions
Encourage adoption of modern engineering practices and automation
Delivery & Strategy
Partner with Product to shape roadmap and execution plans
Improve predictability, velocity, and delivery health
Own incident response processes and post-mortem culture
Align engineering execution to business outcomes
Monitor platform reliability, scalability, and cost performance
Required Experience
7+ years building production software with significant hands-on engineering background
5+ years managing engineering teams (ideally 8-12+ engineers)
Experience building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms in AWS
Strong backend expertise in Java/Spring Boot (or similar) at scale
Frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React strongly preferred)
Experience delivering measurable platform improvements (cost reduction, performance gains, uptime improvements)
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident management at scale
Strong architectural judgment and ability to balance long-term design with pragmatic execution
Preferred Experience
Experience in adtech, martech, or data-intensive B2B SaaS environments
