Job DescriptionYou will be the Systems Engineer Sr for the Simulation and System Laboratories (SSL) F-35 RL Design, Integration, Verification & Validation Team, which is responsible for performing technical execution of requirements and design development, and integration and test.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for employing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to model Reprogramming Laboratory (RL) system functionality, behavior and requirements allocation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing technical execution of requirements and design development using MBSE techniques.
- Modeling RL system functionality and requirements allocation using tools such as Cameo.
- Verifying, testing, integrating, and sustaining delivered RL baselines for the SSL F-35 RL Design, Integration, Verification & Validation Team.
- Applying system requirements developments, systems engineering "V" process model, and configuration/change management techniques.

Willing to travel, as needed, for onsite training and Verification, Integration, and Test efforts at Reprogramming Laboratories.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline. (Preferred: Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering; Electrical, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering)
Experience developing systems requirements and design using Cameo System Modeler or knowledge of similar Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tool suite.
Desired skills Familiar with conducting systems engineering analysis to determine the impact of requirements changes on systems architecture
Basic knowledge of change request (CR) processes to enable implementation of a new capability and/or to resolve an existing operational issue.
Strong analytical, problem solving, demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems of systems
Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience cross collaborating with different engineering teams
Experience with systems engineering processes (i.e. configuration management, problem reporting, etc.) and application of associated tools (e.g. DOORS, JIRA, etc.)
Desire to apply critical thinking and innovative ideas to complex issues.
Experience integrating hardware and software
Experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, JAVA, C++)
Experience with Cameo Report Wizard (VTL)

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
