Position Overview:

Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Agile Coach/Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a high-profile, mission-critical program for the Defense Intelligence Agency's Analytic Innovation Office (DIA/AIO). In this critical role, you will serve as the chief Agile coach and facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART). You will drive ART execution, lead Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) governance, facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, and work collaboratively with cross-functional development teams, product owners, and senior Government stakeholders to optimize the continuous delivery of advanced AI/ML and analytic intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ART Facilitation & Governance: Lead the execution and maturation of the Agile framework across all contract tasks; drive ART processes, facilitate PI Planning events, and sync program iterations with enterprise objectives.
  • Agile Coaching: Coach and mentor development teams, Scrum Masters, and senior leadership on SAFe principles, behavioral norms, and Agile best practices to drive successful transformation.
  • Impediment Removal: Proactively identify, track, and resolve program-level impediments and cross-team dependencies while managing program-level risks.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Establish, track, and communicate program metrics-including velocity, flow distribution, predictability, time-to-market, and team capacity-via Monthly Agile Sprint Reviews and Quarterly PI Reports.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with Product Management and Government stakeholders to ensure alignment on backlog prioritization, synchronized program planning, and continuous value delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous optimization, leveraging user feedback and post-sprint retrospectives to optimize delivery workflows and program performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of senior-level experience implementing, facilitating, and coaching Agile/SAFe frameworks within complex IT and federal government software environments.
  • Certification: Active, advanced Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent senior Agile designation).
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • Citizenship: United States Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of specialized experience in Agile coaching, facilitation, and enterprise transformations.
  • Possession of specific credentials such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified Scrum Professional-ScrumMaster (CSP-SM).
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior Scrum Masters and guiding executive leadership through complex framework migrations.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, automated testing structures, and AI/ML data environments within the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC).

What You Can Expect From Us:
  • Real opportunity for career growth in an environment where your achievements will be celebrated
  • Constant collaboration with numerous teams to ensure client success
  • A team that respects and embraces your ideas and expertise
  • Coworkers that are motivated by pursuing excellence, rather than the prospect of personal gain
  • A workplace dedicated to supporting and bettering public safety and government agencies

Benefits:
  • Very competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
  • Comprehensive, Company paid healthcare for you (We pay your premiums and deductibles)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Travel & performance incentives
  • 3 weeks paid time off (plus Federal Holidays)
  • $5K annual training allowance
