The Gist...

The Agile Team Lead is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery processes, coaching teams on Agile principles and practices, supporting product and business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of sprint and release objectives. The Agile Team Lead serves as a servant leader for the team, promoting continuous improvement, collaboration, transparency, and delivery excellence while supporting large-scale DevSecOps and cloud modernization initiatives.

What Your Day Might Include...

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
  • Partner with Product Owners to manage product backlogs, prioritize work items, refine user stories, and ensure business value is delivered through each sprint.
  • Coach development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain business process models, workflow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Full Stack Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UI/UX Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Support Agile scaling initiatives and promote Agile maturity across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Monitor sprint performance, team velocity, delivery metrics, risks, dependencies, and impediments to support successful program execution.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure transparency regarding project progress, priorities, and delivery timelines.
  • Support release planning and DevSecOps delivery activities within cloud-based environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • SAFe certification.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting business architecture analysis, requirements management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing business process models, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow documentation.
  • Experience utilizing Jira, Confluence, and Mural to support Agile planning, backlog management, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps delivery environments utilizing GitHub Enterprise, Harness, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Product Owners with backlog prioritization, requirements clarification, release planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum methodologies, Agile scaling practices, and continuous improvement principles.
