Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AI Architect (Pod Lead) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for architecting, developing, and scaling AI-powered decision systems. You will define the technical direction, mentor engineering teams, and ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, auditable, and production-ready.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience building LLM-powered applications, multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, and production AI platforms, with strong expertise in Python, AWS, system architecture, and software engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and technical design of AI-powered decision and disposition engines.
Scale and enhance existing AI detection and decision-making platforms.
Define which workflows should be deterministic versus AI-driven, ensuring reliable and explainable decision-making.
Design scalable AI architectures using agent-based orchestration, retrieval pipelines, validation frameworks, and feedback loops.
Lead technical design discussions and convert complex business problems into structured AI solutions.
Develop evaluation strategies using gold datasets, regression testing, and confidence scoring to measure AI performance.
Write production-quality code, review pull requests, and establish engineering best practices.
Mentor engineering teams and drive technical excellence across the AI platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI systems integrate seamlessly with enterprise applications.
Ensure AI systems are secure, scalable, maintainable, and compliant with organizational standards.
Required Skills
10+ years of software engineering experience with significant experience designing and deploying production AI systems.
Strong programming expertise in Python.
Hands-on experience building LLM applications, Agentic AI, and Multi-Agent architectures.
Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or similar.
Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Evaluation Engineering.
Experience designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and retrieval pipelines.
Strong understanding of deterministic workflows versus AI reasoning systems.
Experience deploying production AI applications on AWS (Bedrock preferred) or equivalent cloud platforms.
Expertise in evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, regression testing, and confidence calibration.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
Excellent communication, leadership, and technical mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills
CI/CD automation for AI applications.
SQL Server and relational database design.
Knowledge of Informatica.
Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
Experience with enterprise modernization, legacy application migration, or code remediation initiatives.
Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services.
Nice to Have
Experience leading enterprise AI transformation programs.
Expertise in AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
Experience designing scalable AI platforms serving large enterprise workloads.
