We are looking for a Data Engineer for our client in Toronto, ON

Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

The candidate will work with databases such as MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL to manage and query data efficiently.
The candidate will be expected to write clean maintainable and efficient Python code participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Proficiency in Kafka and experience with streaming data platforms are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

Design build and maintain robust data pipelines.
Manage and query data using MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL Write high-quality maintainable Python code.
Participate in code reviews and share best practices with the team Work with Kafka and streaming data technologies to enable Realtime data processing.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data engineering Handson experience with MongoDB IBM DB2 and MSSQL Solid understanding of Kafka and streaming data architectures.
Commitment to writing clean efficient and well documented code.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
