A tech services company in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Python / Java / Typescript / REST API Engineer to focus on building and supporting scalable APIs, microservices, and agentic AI platform components within a hybrid environment.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain agent orchestration services, tool registries, and execution runtimes.
Build APIs and microservices for LLM integration, prompt management, and agent lifecycle management.
Implement observability, logging, and monitoring for agentic workflows.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to support platform reliability.
Collaborate with architects and machine learning engineers on design decisions, model integration, and production support.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of Software Engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least one of Java, Go, or TypeScript
Hands-on experience building production REST or gRPC APIs and microservices
Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools
Working experience with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, or AI/ML application development
Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations
Desired Skills:
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools
Experience with event-driven architectures such as Kafka or EventBridge
Familiarity with vector databases, observability tools, agent evaluation frameworks, FastAPI or Flask, async Python, and Redis
