Summary




A tech services company in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Python / Java / Typescript / REST API Engineer to focus on building and supporting scalable APIs, microservices, and agentic AI platform components within a hybrid environment.


About the Opportunity:




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid (Tuesday to Thursday are onsite)




Responsibilities:




  • Develop and maintain agent orchestration services, tool registries, and execution runtimes.




  • Build APIs and microservices for LLM integration, prompt management, and agent lifecycle management.




  • Implement observability, logging, and monitoring for agentic workflows.




  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to support platform reliability.




  • Collaborate with architects and machine learning engineers on design decisions, model integration, and production support.




Qualifications:




  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience




  • Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least one of Java, Go, or TypeScript




  • Hands-on experience building production REST or gRPC APIs and microservices




  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools




  • Working experience with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, or AI/ML application development




  • Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations




Desired Skills:




  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools




  • Experience with event-driven architectures such as Kafka or EventBridge




  • Familiarity with vector databases, observability tools, agent evaluation frameworks, FastAPI or Flask, async Python, and Redis
