Summary

Vendor Management Advisor Role Description
We are seeking a highly strategic and seasoned Vendor Management Advisor to lead and drive the goal of positioning the organisation as a preferred long-term partner of our customers. This role requires expertise to build a strong relationship with the VMO to understand their business objectives and goals, to analyse and work around on a strategy that aligns with mutual objectives and to take it to a closure. This is a high-impact role to directly influence the organisation s ability to build long-term, value-driven partnerships. Requires a close association with senior stakeholders, shaping strategic vendor relationships, and playing a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and sustaining long-term, strategic relationships with of clients.
  • Building strategies to align with mutual business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, favourable contract terms, and strong SLAs.
  • Ensure legal compliance and provide depth in contract execution and governance.
  • Analyse market dynamics in technology and workforce fulfilment to inform vendor strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, i.e., Sales, Contracts, Onboarding, etc., to achieve the goals.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to communicate strategies, outcomes, and recommendations effectively
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (master's preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and achieving favourable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to vendor contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of technology and manpower market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible to travel to our client locations across the USA for discussions
