The Network Engineer s main responsibility is to design, plan, configure, implement and monitor computer networks including network infrastructure services, video, data, and voice across all locations. Network types include: WAN, LAN, WLAN, VOIP, VLAN, VPN, SD-WAN and NETOPS. The Network Engineer provides direction and solutions for all aspects of network infrastructure & system standards. They secure network systems by setting up and applying policies, defines and oversees access. They maintain network environments and provide support to all users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve any issues that occur.
Skills:
- Demonstrates broad knowledge across multiple technologies domains Route/Switch/Data Center/VOICE& UC.
- Must possess intimate knowledge of Dynamic Routing, Software Defined Network (SDN), SD-WAN technologies, MPLS, VPLS, VOICE/UC, Cisco networking and Avaya technologies, MSFT TEAMS Architecture
- Knowledge of hybrid multi cloud network architecture
- Deep knowledge of perimeter technologies such as, Network Load balancing (netscaler), DHCP, DNS, VPN, BGP, OSPF, SIP/RTP
- Industry experience with key networking and network security and PBX/UCaaS technologies and well-established relationship with vendors as well as relationship with various forums and experts
- Ability to work across disciplines and in a matrix environment to deliver results through influence
- Ability present/collaborate complex topics to all levels of staff
- Demonstrates technical leadership for the respective technologies
- Demonstrates collaborative leadership and be the advocate for the network and voice team
- AWS and Azure network administration experience a plus.
