Position : Salesforce Systems Analyst

As a Salesforce Systems Analyst supporting CMS, a typical day will include:
• Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for system and process changes.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, documenting business processes, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis between business requirements and Salesforce functionality.
• Support development of process flows, data requirements, and system documentation.
• Perform complex analytical tasks including data, cost/benefit, and process measurement analyses.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and internal deadlines for deliverables.
• Monitor progress and report on performance to ensure contractual and schedule objectives are met.
• Participate in, and lead sections of client-facing meetings, capturing notes, action items, and follow-up tasks.
• Support backlog grooming, requirements prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
• Develop and refine documentation such as reports, briefing materials, and analysis summaries.
• Research and apply process improvement techniques and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery expectations.
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria aligned to Salesforce functionality.
• Execute functional testing, regression testing, and validation of Salesforce features, integrations, and workflows.
• Log, track, and retest defects in JIRA, partnering with developers and product owners to ensure timely resolution.
• Support release readiness by validating user stories against acceptance criteria and participating in sprint demos.
• Coordinate with QA teams and SMEs to ensure adequate test coverage across business processes.
• Perform early exploratory testing to identify potential issues or gaps prior to formal QA cycles.
• Support testing activities by clarifying requirements, validating user stories, and confirming acceptance criteria.

What you'll need:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant IT system testing experience.
• Active Salesforce Agentforce, Salesforce Certified Quality Analyst, Salesforce Business Analyst, and/or Salesforce Administrator certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including experince with requirements, data modeling, documentation, or process development
• 5+ years of hands-on experince performing manual testing of Salesforce applications with any clouds, like Sales, Service or Experience Clouds.
• Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business process documentation.
• Expert experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts, or acceptance test procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum or SAFe) environments.
• Must be able to obtain T4 Public Trust clearance.
• Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services or other federal healthcare programs.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent).
• Experience supporting automation testers (not performing automation directly but understanding frameworks).
• Experience validating Salesforce integrations, workflows, or data transformations.
• Experience conducting data analysis or supporting reporting needs.
• Active SAFe or other Agile certification(s).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and process mapping skills.
• Familiarity with Section 508 testing or accessibility validation (not required but increases flexibility).
• Experience facilitating meetings, eliciting information from SMEs, and documenting complex business processes.
