Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Strategy: Develops high-level and low-level design documents, including system landscape diagrams, data models, and integration patterns.
Business Requirements Alignment: Translates complex business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions, recommending whether to use configuration ("clicks") or code.
System Integration & Security: Designs Salesforce applications and integrations with external enterprise systems (Informatica, TIBCO, API management) and defines robust security, sharing, and access models.
Technical Governance & Mentorship: Ensures best practices for development, conducts code reviews, and mentors developers and administrators.
Implementation Oversight: Oversees data migration strategies, environment management, and release management.
Trusted Advisor: Acts as the final escalation point for technical issues and provides strategic guidance to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, with proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform capabilities.
Architectural Skills: Strong understanding of data modeling, data security, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP).
Experience: Usually 10+ years in IT/CRM, with significant hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Solution Architect certifications are highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management abilities.
