Senior Application Engineer - 3691405

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Application Engineer position! This is an 18+ month contract with excellent potential to extend well beyond that and will be remote in the United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support in-house applications through on-premises-to-Azure cloud migration initiatives targeting Q1 2027 completion
• Lead application development and migration efforts for two critical applications including lift-and-shift and complete redesign projects
• Implement code following established architectural patterns including CQRS, ensuring adherence to layered application design standards
• Test changes, fix bugs, and enhance applications using modern development practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide production support and incident response, including on-call troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Conduct UAT testing and quality assurance for redesigned applications being rewritten from legacy ASPX webforms
• Maintain and support applications serving Treasury, Operations, Investment Banking, and Compliance business units
• Provision Azure infrastructure using Terraform to support application deployments and cloud resources
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing technical insights and recommendations to improve development processes
• Develop Power BI reporting solutions and manage ETL/data migration requirements as applications transition to cloud platforms

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on application development experience with proven expertise in enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency in C# development and .NET framework with demonstrated ability to build scalable applications
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns including CQRS and SOLID principles with ability to implement layered application designs
• Proven Azure development experience including cloud-native application deployment and migration strategies
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Solid experience with SQL Server Database and T-SQL for data management and optimization
• Strong preference for Blazor or MudBlazor framework experience for modern web application development
• ETL and data migration experience preferred for supporting application transitions and data transformations
• Excellent communication skills with passion for software craftsmanship and commitment to delivering quality solutions

Pay Range: $75-80+/hr
