Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will design and implement innovative software solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks, paired with a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js to ensure robust and reliable functionality.
Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces with React or similar frontend frameworks.
Design, implement, and optimize database solutions using relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Create and execute unit and integration tests to validate software performance and reliability.
Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Utilize APIs to enhance functionality and streamline system integration.
Apply best practices in software development, including CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth user experiences.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.
Contribute to projects involving accounting-heavy or manufacturing-related systems.
Requirements
Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for developing modern applications.
Extensive experience with backend development using Node.js.
Strong skills in building frontend applications using React or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with APIs and their integration into software systems.
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and integration testing practices.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices is beneficial.
Exposure to systems within manufacturing or accounting domains is a plus.
