Software Developer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Stamford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Build and enhance user interfaces with React or similar frontend frameworks to create seamless user experiences.
Design and manage relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, for effective data storage and retrieval.
Implement unit and integration testing processes to validate software functionality and reliability.
Collaborate with API frameworks to integrate third-party services and enhance system capabilities.
Utilize your understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices to support continuous development and deployment workflows.
Apply knowledge of accounting-heavy or manufacturing systems to address industry-specific requirements.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality and performance.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
Solid experience in backend development using Node.js.
Expertise in frontend development with React or comparable frameworks.
Strong understanding of relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with API integration and management.
Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
Experience in industries such as manufacturing or accounting systems is advantageous.
