Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in sales analysis to join our team in Leawood, Kansas. As a key contributor, you will analyze data from multiple sources, support sales funnel optimization, and help translate sales team needs into actionable business strategies. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data from sales funnels, including sources such as Salesforce, to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand their needs and convert them into clear business requirements.
Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), to drive informed decision-making.
Develop reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Microsoft Excel to present findings to stakeholders.
Leverage SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for in-depth analysis.
Provide insights into sales pipelines, including leads, opportunities, proposals, and closed deals, to optimize processes.
Work with AI-powered tools and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
Support marketing and revenue analytics initiatives by integrating data from multiple platforms, such as HubSpot or Google Analytics.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement within sales operations.
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to align on goals and deliverables.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on sales operations.
Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud is highly preferred.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation.
Experience with SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data effectively.
Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
Solid understanding of sales pipelines, including stages like leads, opportunities, and deal closures.
Knowledge of marketing and revenue analytics concepts through coursework, internships, or projects.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
