Job Title: Contract Instructional Designer Global Supply Chain
We are looking for a contract Instructional Designer to join our Global Supply Chain team to help design and build the next generation of innovative supply chain trainings.
The Instructional Designer role supports the content design and technology deployment of employee SAP and Ivalua development training for internal employees and external supplier groups, including but not limited to web-based learning, instructor-led training, blended instructional solutions, virtual classroom sessions, as well as instructional and learning materials.
This role supports the strategic operational goals of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) department . This role leverages current and future technologies to enhance access to program content for employees while keeping the team s visual design elements innovative, user-centric, and aligned to the Company brand.

Primary Responsibilities
Instructional / Graphic Design
Familiar with end-to-end curriculum and learning program design and development.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives and the target audience s training needs.
Apply end-user design methodology to ensure participants are at the center of all program and tool design.
Develop quick reference guides, interactive PDF documents, and other training documentation.
Use eLearning authoring tools to develop learning.
Produce facilitator guides and scripts for instructor-led and virtual classroom trainings.
Edit presentation slide decks from facilitators and SMEs to streamline design for workshop series sessions.
Design online intranet websites using basic HTML and GUI interfaces.
Deliver final print and/or video projects (e.g., .doc, .pdf, .mp4, .wmv).
Design within current company style guides and standards (e.g., company brand application of fonts/colors).
Technology Utilization
Maintain intranet site content, online training content, and document libraries in company LMS and internal website systems.
Drive the research, implementation, and utilization of learning technologies/software for supply chain programs, S4 (SAP) Transformation communities, and tools with an eye for ease of development and end-user functionality.
Influence the development and usage of instructor-led virtual classroom learning technologies.
Advise GSC team members on best practices for the use of learning technologies in effective training.
Program Support
Consider how and what measurement metrics will be used to evaluate the success of learning events/training.
Co-lead project management and roll-out strategies for key GSC training projects (e.g., video microlearning, eLearning modules, mobile learning).
Support virtual classroom trainings, acting in the designer and technical training role.
Maintain training records within Learning Management Systems (LMS), participate in LMS platform upgrades and customization meetings, and provide technical support across LMS and learning technologies.
Stay up to date on progressive thinking and design strategies for training tools through research, both internally and externally.
Partner with IT departments to implement S4 (SAP) Transformation Training for multiple groups across operations.
Skill / Job Requirements
Educational / Environment Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree plus 5 10 years of related experience (instructional design, curriculum development, visual communication, graphic design, learning & development, software training development, organizational development, human-centered design, or education-focused roles); Master s Degree in Instructional Design/Curriculum Development preferred.
Work location flexible within the United States (Company Campus, remote-based, or a combination).
Available for periodic evenings and some weekend hours with prior notice for program support.
Willingness to travel to company functions and off-site training events; Travel 10%.
Required Skills / Abilities
Proven competency in visual/training design. [Portfolio requested]
Ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results with a focus on detailed execution.
Ability to work both as part of a team focused on common goals, as well as self-directed to complete individual deliverables by project deadlines.
Interest in and ability to interact with a globally distributed, multicultural, and multigenerational team.
Experience consulting and partnering with SMEs to gather training requirements and drive learning design through an automated intake system.
Exhibits excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with an eye for human-centered design and process improvement.
Demonstrated follow-through of assignments to completion with a bias toward operationalizing concepts for global scalability, rapid implementation, and measurement.
Required Technical / Software Skills
Design Software: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
eLearning Software: Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia.
Virtual classroom platforms.
Technical savvy with content development tools: MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), Planner, Power BI, Power Automate, and Qualtrics.
Preferred Skills / Abilities
Experience conducting needs analysis to distill and articulate skill needs that could be solved through SAP and Ivalua training development.
Basic HTML, GUI interface, and website editing skills.
Experience working in cloud content management services.
Administrative experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Production experience with virtual classroom delivery systems.
Experience with software/application implementations.
Comfort with public speaking to small- and medium-sized groups, both in person and virtually.
