The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary technical leader to spearhead the engineering evolution of a premier manufacturing facility within the food and beverage sector. As a pivotal member of the site’s senior executive team, you will report directly to the Plant Manager, serving as the primary architect for the facility''s long-term technical roadmap.

This is a high-visibility mandate designed for a strategic thinker who excels at transforming complex infrastructure—specifically across ammonia systems, wastewater treatment, and utility networks—into engines of efficiency and innovation. If you are looking to accelerate your trajectory within a global market leader that rewards creative problem-solving and technical mastery, this role offers the ideal platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect a multi-year capital investment strategy (1–5 year horizon) by synthesizing input from cross-functional pillars including Safety, Quality, Finance, and Operations.

  • Champion the execution of high-impact capital initiatives focused on optimizing ammonia refrigeration, industrial wastewater management, and critical utility infrastructure.

  • Drive technical excellence in automation and production design, proactively identifying opportunities to modernize system architectures and increase throughput.

  • Synthesize engineering resources to provide elite-level project support at both the local facility and broader divisional levels.

  • Direct the Utilities department, ensuring peak operational performance and rigorous regulatory compliance for steam, nitrogen, natural gas, compressed air, and refrigeration systems.

  • Cultivate high-performance cross-functional teams to elevate site standards in labor relations, sanitation protocols, and total cost of ownership.

What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.

  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within a strictly regulated manufacturing environment (Food, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sectors).

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery in managing complex capital projects, with a specific focus on utility infrastructure, wastewater processing, or ammonia-based systems.

  • Strategic Mindset: The ability to move beyond tactical fixes to deliver long-term, proactive engineering solutions.

  • Relocation Readiness: Flexibility to be based in the Greater Coldwater, MI area (comprehensive relocation assistance is provided).
