The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber Reliability Engineer to spearhead the evolution of maintenance infrastructure at a premier manufacturing facility in the Greater Morristown area. This is a pivotal role designed for a technical leader who thrives on transforming operational stability into a competitive advantage. You will act as the primary architect of the site’s reliability framework, ensuring that production remains resilient, safe, and highly efficient. If you are passionate about moving beyond reactive fixes to implement sophisticated, long-term technical solutions, this mission-critical position offers the platform to drive genuine industrial excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and evolve a comprehensive facility reliability roadmap that guarantees operational safety and strict regulatory alignment.

  • Synthesize efforts between Maintenance, Production, and Engineering departments to integrate superior maintainability standards into all new capital projects and equipment modifications.

  • Champion multi-disciplinary initiatives focused on total failure elimination across production lines, utility systems, and integrated safety controls.

  • Engineer and refine advanced maintenance protocols, leveraging high-value preventive strategies and cutting-edge predictive testing methodologies.

  • Analyze chronic equipment malfunctions to engineer permanent technical remediations that bolster throughput and minimize operational expenditure.

  • Deliver expert-level technical consultation to plant personnel during both standard operations and critical system recoveries.

  • Cultivate the technical expertise of the maintenance organization by designing and executing sophisticated internal training programs.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated practice as a Reliability Engineer or Specialist within a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Pedigree: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial disciplines are highly prioritized).

  • Operational Depth: A strong professional background in maintenance leadership or technical supervision is intensely preferred.

  • Problem-Solving: A proven track record of deconstructing complex mechanical and electrical failures to find root-cause resolutions.

  • Communication: Elite verbal and written skills, with the ability to present technical data to executive stakeholders and provide clear guidance to shop-floor teams.

  • Mindset: A relentless drive for continuous improvement and a boots-on-the-ground approach to working alongside technicians in the field.
