Summary

Job Overview:

Responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of Azure Cloud environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure platform
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and policies for cloud infrastructure design and operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and resource contention
  • Implement and manage Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks (VNETs), load balancers, logic apps, functions and storage accounts
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate cloud deployment

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with design and administration of Azure Cloud Services
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • Knowledgeable in Azure Cloud Architecture, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune and MDM management, VNet and Resource Groups, and Azure Virtual Network gateways
  • Hands-on experience with core Azure services, including networking, security, storage, and identity management (Azure AD).
  • Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintaining system integrity
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Experience with Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps, Bicep or Terraform

Education and Training

BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate desired

Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty desired
