This person will be onsite 100% and open to reimbursed travel to 3 locations (2 in Columbus, Ohio and 1 in Ashland, Ohio)
We want this person to perform staging of Juniper access points and switches, perform inventory and wipe data from cisco gear being returned from sites, perform testing of defective equipment and process RMA''s, perform network closet inventory and create / update reports, as needed network device configuration.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overall support and implementation of LAN and WAN data communications networks with network access security systems.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor''s Degree desirable.
- Network certifications a plus, specifically JNCIA / JNCIS.
- Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP protocols, subnet masking, OSI model, related protocols and applications.
- Experience in link state routing protocol (OSPF, BGP, etc.), experience configuring and managing routers, knowledge of VLAN technology, and speed and duplex settings.
- Implementation and management of wireless topology. Troubleshooting techniques and experience (ping, trace route, diagnostics methodology etc.), good analytical approach to problem solving DNS, UNIX, DHCP knowledge plus 2-3 years directly related experience with managing a sizable network including routers, switches and security devices.

Network Implementation Responsible for the installation, configuration and management of technical area of responsibility whether local/wide area network, Remote connectivity, or DNS management including making recommendations for best technical solution, interfacing with vendors, providing documentation, and physical installs.

Network Troubleshooting and problem solving. Possesses knowledge of available tools to troubleshoot and minimize downtime, able to evaluate situation, make sound accurate decisions, and provide root cause analysis in a timely manner.

Network documentation. Works with senior engineers and architects to update / create network diagrams and documentation. Provides assistance in network planning, engineering, architecture and the development of technical standards.

Network performance Using existing tools for monitoring health of the network and capacity planning. Make recommendations for improving existing network efficiencies.

Remote access Managing Net screen and VPN application, seeks technical solution for allowing remote connectivity to OhioHealth''s infrastructure.
