Summary

Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-visibility initiatives within a healthcare payer environment, focused on Medicaid and Special Needs Plan product performance and new benefit implementations. This role will serve as a key liaison across business, operations, and technology teams, driving complex, fast-moving programs in a data-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives supporting Medicaid and healthcare product performance and implementation efforts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, ensuring alignment across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project plans including timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and key deliverables
  • Drive execution of initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Maintain centralized reporting on project status, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Facilitate project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure follow-ups and action items are completed
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and partner with stakeholders to drive resolution
  • Support transformation-focused initiatives within a fast-paced, evolving environment


Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise-level initiatives
  • Experience within a healthcare payer or health plan environment (Medicaid strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs across business and technology teams
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience managing large-scale initiatives (programs with budgets of $1M+)
  • Comfortable working in data-heavy environments and partnering with technical teams
  • Experience operating in Agile or hybrid Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background supporting transformation or modernization initiatives
  • Experience with Special Needs Plan (SNP) programs
  • Familiarity with PPM tools such as Smartsheet or similar platforms
  • Experience with collaboration tools including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and MS Office Suite
