Role Overview
This role focuses on the application of computer science and mathematical analysis for the design, development, and testing of software and systems. The position involves contributing to the refinement and standardization of industrial controls data for cloud-based applications, including automation, reporting, and predictive analytics. The work supports the modernization of industrial controls and telemetry data processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Modify existing databases and database management systems.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions.
- Work with a project team to coordinate database development and define project scope.
- Review project requests to estimate time and cost required.
- Contribute to improving process efficiency through automation.
- Maintain and enhance legacy systems.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field is required.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills:- C#/.NET (ideally .NET 10)
- Visual Studio
- Python
- Azure IoT
- Kusto/KQL
- SQL
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in automation development.
- Capabilities in AI and machine learning.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
