Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anaplan Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable Anaplan models that support planning, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, high-performance Anaplan solutions while following best practices and governance standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and optimize Anaplan models following DISCO and PLANS best practices

·       Translate business requirements into technical Anaplan solutions

·       Build and maintain modules, lists, actions, processes, and dashboards

·       Optimize model performance, data integrity, and scalability

·       Integrate Anaplan with external systems using Anaplan Connect, APIs, and ETL tools

·       Manage data imports/exports and ensure accurate data flows

·       Support testing, deployment, and production releases

·       Provide ongoing model enhancements, troubleshooting, and user support

·       Create technical documentation and model blueprints

·       Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and end users

·       Ensure adherence to security, access controls, and model governance standards

Required Qualifications

·       5+ years of hands-on Anaplan development experience

·       Strong understanding of Anaplan modeling concepts, formulas, and architecture

·       Experience with complex calculations, hierarchies, and time-based modeling

·       Proficiency in model performance optimization techniques

·       Experience integrating Anaplan with source systems (ERP, CRM, data warehouses)

·       Solid understanding of financial planning, sales planning, supply chain, or workforce planning

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

·       Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 2 or 3)

·       Experience with CloudWorks, Anaplan APIs, Python, or Java

·       Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

·       Experience in large, multi-model Anaplan environments

·       Consulting or enterprise implementation experience

·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·       Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

·       Detail-oriented with a focus on model quality and performance

·       Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
