Location: Hybrid at Reston VA and client locations in the Washington DC area as required
Position Summary
The Business Analyst supports requirements, analysis, and quality activities for delivery teams. This role elicits and documents requirements, develops user stories and acceptance criteria, and partners with Product Owners and engineers to ensure features meet business needs. The Business Analyst also contributes to testing, validation, and the use of AI assisted tools to improve documentation accuracy and analysis efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Support backlog refinement and sprint planning
Model business processes and data flows
Support user acceptance testing and validation of delivered features
Use AI assisted tools for documentation, analysis, and traceability
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle

Minimum Experience

Three plus years of business analysis experience on IT projects
Experience with Agile delivery and user story development

Mandatory Skills

Strong requirements documentation skills
Strong communication skills

Additional Requirements

Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Reston VA and client locations in the Washington DC area as required
Strong presentation and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize and self start
Adaptability and flexibility as priorities shift
Openness to feedback and willingness to support evolving business needs
