DevOps Deployment Engineer
Responsibilities
· Manage application deployments, synchronization, rollbacks, and production support using ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
· Support Kubernetes and Linux-based production platforms, including validation, troubleshooting, and environment stability.
· Deploy and maintain Helm charts across development, test, and production environments.
· Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability using enterprise observability tools.
· Support CI/CD pipelines, release coordination, and change management across multiple environments.
· Respond to production incidents, drive issue resolution, and participate in RCA and problem management.
· Maintain deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
· Partner with Development, QA, and Platform Engineering to improve deployment reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
· ArgoCD, GitOps, and deployment lifecycle management.
· Kubernetes administration and Linux production support.
· Helm chart deployment and environment configuration.
· CI/CD, release management, and change control practices.
· Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, or SolarWinds.
· Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
· Production incident response, troubleshooting, RCA, and problem resolution.
· JFrog Artifactory and OpenStack fundamentals.
· Technical documentation, operational runbooks, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Have
· Experience supporting large-scale production SaaS environments.
· Experience with deployment orchestration, automated rollback, and release governance.
· Experience building operational dashboards, monitoring workflows, and log analytics solutions.
· Exposure to cloud-native and containerized application architectures.
· Experience in compliance-driven environments with formal change control processes.
· Demonstrated success reducing deployment failures through automation and observability.
