Role: Data Engineer (With Sql, Python, Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer))
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: long term – W2

Required
• At least 8+ years of Information Technology experience
• Proficiency in Python AND SQL is highly desirable.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer)
• Strong communication and Analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Min 2 years of experience in Google Cloud platform (especially BigQuery & DataFlow)
• Experience with Python, SQL and Google Cloud SDK & API Scripting.
• Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) considered a plus.
• Capable of designing scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources into BQ
• Strong hands-on experience on Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent Communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
