A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Recruiter

Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Holly Ridge, LA (Rayville)

As a Recruiter, you will:

Coordinate recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt roles up to the managerial level.
Discuss job requirements with department management.
Interview, screen, and administer tests to applicants; refer qualified candidates to hiring supervisors.
Prepare internal postings and external advertisements in collaboration with hiring managers and agencies.
Arrange postings and schedule interviews for internal candidates.
Verify employment history, education, and references.
Respond to applications and inquiries, including notifying unsuccessful candidates.
Coordinate travel and lodging for recruitment purposes.
Prepare acceptance letters, extend job offers, and confirm salary/benefits/start dates.
Schedule post-offer pre-employment physicals.
Maintain Applicant Tracking System and Job Information Line.
Conduct exit interviews with departing employees.
Manage external placement agency contacts and temporary staffing arrangements.
Handle unemployment compensation paperwork and recordkeeping.
Stay current with employment practices, laws, and compliance requirements (EEO, Affirmative Action).
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan.
Support additional HR activities (compensation, benefits, training, employment).

The ideal candidate will have:

High School diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years’ Human Resources experience, including experience in interviewing, recruitment and/or general employment activities.
Experience with hiring for construction roles.
Skill in interviewing techniques, a basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices, excellent organizational, communication and computer skills and a basic understanding of the Company’s organization structure as well as working knowledge of Team Member policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
Proven success in full-cycle, high-volume recruiting (especially in construction roles for structured cabling infrastructure).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $40 - $45 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
