Role: Peoplesoft Business Systems Analyst (HR)
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid Position: 1 day per week on site)

Narrative Description of Position:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will provide functional and technical analysis support for PeopleSoft HRMS, working closely with the existing PeopleSoft team, business stakeholders, and technical developers.
Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements; translating functional needs into detailed technical specifications; and supporting system design, configuration, and testing activities. The BSA will perform impact analysis for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades across HRMS and Financial modules.
The BSA will support defect triage and resolution by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating with development teams. They will create and execute test plans, test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, the role includes validating data integrity, supporting integrations and interfaces, and assisting with reporting and query development (e.g., PS Query, SQL).
The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business processes and system functionality, maintain documentation (requirements, process flows, and technical specs), and ensure adherence to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
