About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Data Analyst to support a fast-paced Robotics Supply Chain organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a cutting-edge technology environment while gaining hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain operations, supplier management, and data analytics.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience working with supply chain, procurement, or business operations data. This position will support ongoing sustaining programs, engineering change management activities, and daily supply-demand analysis for critical components.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Procurement Support
  • Support daily supply chain operations and component demand planning activities
  • Assist with Agile and Engineering Change Order (ECO) management processes
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions within procurement systems
  • Track purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery performance
  • Maintain supplier databases, procurement records, and documentation
  • Coordinate supplier communications regarding quotes, deliveries, and documentation

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze supply and demand requirements for components
  • Create reports, dashboards, pivot tables, and spend analyses using Excel
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery
  • Maintain pricing databases and cost comparison models
  • Generate regular business reports and project status updates

Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate sample requests and supplier interactions with engineering teams
  • Assist with supplier onboarding and documentation management
  • Participate in supplier meetings and cross-functional project discussions
  • Support RFQ (Request for Quote) preparation and supplier evaluations

Research & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct supplier and market research
  • Compile competitive intelligence and pricing benchmarks
  • Support cost reduction and supplier consolidation initiatives
  • Help document and improve procurement processes and procedures

Quality & Compliance Support
  • Track supplier quality metrics and performance indicators
  • Maintain supplier certification and compliance documentation
  • Assist with audit preparation and corrective action tracking


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Transportation, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
  • Experience working with business, operational, supply chain, or procurement data
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or business analysis
  • Knowledge of configuration management concepts
  • Experience with SQL and data querying tools
  • Familiarity with supplier management or commodity management processes
  • Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or robotics environments
