Data Migration Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Migration Consultant to play a critical role in a large?scale ERP transformation initiative. This role will lead and support the migration of financial data from Lawson into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Microsoft Fabric, while also enabling accurate, timely operational reporting during a phased system rollout.

This position requires deep, hands?on Lawson expertise and strong analytical skills to support both migration execution and interim reporting needs. The consultant will partner closely with internal stakeholders as well as system integrators and data migration partners, including Deloitte and EPAM.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end?to?end financial data migration from Lawson to Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations.
• Analyze, extract, map, transform, and validate Lawson data to ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Support data ingestion, modeling, and integration into Microsoft Fabric to enable downstream analytics and reporting.
• Design and execute approaches to merge and reconcile data across Lawson and D365 to support operational and financial reporting during the transition period.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and auditability across legacy and target systems.
• Collaborate closely with Deloitte (system integrator) and EPAM (data migration partner) to align on data architecture, migration strategy, and execution timelines.
• Partner with internal finance teams, enterprise architects, and technical leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing ERP transformation and blueprint refresh initiatives, providing data migration and reporting expertise as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive, hands?on experience with Lawson (Infor Lawson) — this is a mandatory and critical requirement.
• Proven experience leading or supporting ERP data migrations, with a strong focus on financial data (GL, AP, AR, FA, etc.).
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation across complex ERP environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross?functional teams and external vendors in large?scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data quality, controls, and governance in financial systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, or comparable enterprise data platforms.
• Experience supporting hybrid or interim reporting environments during phased ERP rollouts.
• Background in data integration, operational reporting, or analytics during system transitions.
